Note
The lecture deals with the general framework, impact factors and methods for planning, handling, and controlling of IT projects. Especially following topics are addressed:
- project environment
- project organisation
- project planning including the following items:
- plan of the project structure
- flow chart
- project schedule
- plan of resources
- effort estimation
- project infrastructur
- project controlling
- risk management
- feasibility studies
- decision processes, conduct of negotiations, time management.
Learning objectives:
Students
- explain the terminology of IT project management and typical used methods for planning, handling and controlling,
- apply methods appropiate to current project phases and project contexts,
- consider organisational and social impact factors.
