Wiwi Tablets
Tired of printing out lecture slides, but not sure if a tablet is right for you? The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics has 15 devices that can be borrowed by students for a period of 4 weeks. This offer allows everyone to find out whether a tablet meets their own needs and is considered useful in everyday study life.
Prerequisites:
- Student of the KIT Faculty of Business Administration and Economics
- An academic staff member of the faculty must confirm that the device is required for the continuation of studies during the reserved period
Features of the tablets:
- Tablet with the latest hardware
- Android 10 operating system
- Built-in 5 megapixel front camera, 8 megapixel rear camera
- Touchscreen stylus available
Procedure:
- Step 1: Select a model and a time period. Select a contact person at the faculty who will confirm that you need the device for teaching or study purposes. This is necessary because some of the devices come from tuition fees or quality promotion measures and may therefore only be borrowed for study-related purposes. You should clarify with the relevant member of staff beforehand whether they will confirm the loan.
- Step 2: The member of staff receives an e-mail and must confirm that you need the device for teaching or study purposes. (Status: Waiting for confirmation)
- Step 3: After the employee has confirmed (and at the time of the preselected pick-up date), you will receive an e-mail that you can pick up the device (status: Ready for pick-up). The loan period starts from this time.
- Step 4: You collect the device from us in building 11.40 room S114 during opening hours. (Status: Loaned)
- Step 5: As soon as you no longer need the device or the loan period has ended, return the device to the service office. (Status: Returned)
