The assessment is carried out as partial exams (according to Section 4 (2), 1-3 SPO) of the core course and further single courses of this module, whose sum of credits must meet the minimum requirement of credits of this module. The assessment procedures are described for each course of the module separately.
The overall grade of the module is the average of the grades for each course weighted by the credits and truncated after the first decimal.
Competence Goal
Students
- are acquainted with the methods of Experimental Economics along with its strengths and weaknesses;
- understand how theory-guided research in Experimental Economics interacts with the development of theory;
- are provided with foundations in data analysis;
- design an economic experiment and analyze its outcome.

None.
Content
The module Experimental Economics offers an introduction into the methods and topics of Experimental Economics. It also fosters and extends knowledge in theory-guided experimental economics and its interaction with theory development. Throughout the module, readings of selected papers are required.
Recommendation
Basic knowledge in mathematics, statistics, and game theory is assumed.
