Content
This lab emphasizes on the design process for digital computing systems. In the beginning, an introduction into the digital design flow and testing of digital circuits is given. Afterwards, the students will learn to design and test their own digital circuits.
Therefore, the students will use Intel's Galileo, an Arduino-certified development board available for everybody based on the well-known Intel x86 architecture. At the end, the student will be able to build complex circuits like full-adders and connect them to Intel Galileo in order to test them using standard Linux commands.
Recommendation
Knowledge of “Dependable Computing” and “Fault Tolerant Computing” is helpful.
