Students of the KIT Department of Economics and Management excel in interdisciplinary competencies at the interfaces of economics, computer science, and engineering. The KIT Department of Economics and Management maintains a strong partner network and supports companies in their search for the talents of tomorrow. With about 3,800 students, the KIT Department of Economics and Management is one of the largest at KIT.

Our Partners 2024/2025
msg invites students to the Code & Create Hackathon event. The task is to develop a functional social media platform for specific communities. The application deadline is 06.11.
In addition, msg offers students workshops to get to know the project management methods Scrum, Kanban, the creativity technique Design Thinking, as well as the programming language Kotlin. Travel costs to the workshops will be covered.
About the Workshops
We are pleased to welcome the msg group as a new partner of our Study Program Information Systems in our partner network from the winter semester 2024/25. The msg group offers comprehensive IT services - from transformation consulting to the implementation of suitable solutions (AI, cloud, etc.) to operation. We look forward to the exchange and exciting events with msg.

Das CERN wird 70 und das wollen wir mit Euch feiern!
An dem berühmten Genfer Forschungszentrum, das die Welt der allerkleinsten Teilchen erforscht, arbeiten Hunderte von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern aus der ganzen Welt. Auch zahlreiche Forschende des KIT sind maßgeblich an den Entdeckungen der Weltmaschine beteiligt.
Bei einem bunten Programm für Groß und Klein zu Teilchen- und Astroteilchenphysik habt Ihr die Chance, die Forschung zu den Ursprüngen unseres Universums zu entdecken. Das abwechslungsreiche Programm reicht dabei von Vorträgen, Impulsen und Diskussionsrunden über Mitmachangebote bis hin zu Unterhaltungsformaten.
Eröffnet wird das Programm am Donnerstagabend im Open-Air Kino mit dem Film ?Particle Fever? und einer anschließenden Diskussion mit Forschenden aus Karlsruhe. Gemeinsam werfen wir einen Blick hinter die Kulissen und sehen, wie die Forschenden am CERN die Entdeckung des Higgs-Teilchens erlebt haben. Als besondere Highlights erwarten Euch darüber hinaus eine Podiumsdiskussion rund um die Rolle der Grundlagenforschung für unsere Gesellschaft und die Zukunft des CERN am Freitagabend im InformatiKOM sowie Experimente für die ganze Familie und die Late Night Show "STULLE - wissenschaftlich belegt" am Samstag.
Der Eintritt zum Festival ist kostenlos.
Vor Ort könnt Ihr Euch im intro CAFÉ mit regionalen Speisen und Getränken stärken.
